I've been busy on standby again.

Busy with the wife this weekend trying to get her back on her feet after foot surgery. She started climbing the stairs today.
I've got on-call tonight, I hope it's quiet last week I got called out at 3:30am and didnt get home until 6:00pm Tuesday evening.
I hate on-call, even though I get paid time and a half I take a bigger hit on taxes because of my pension from the Navy.

Got a 2am call out last night.
Called the account to give them an ETA and get info on what was required, they needed a bariatric bed for a 300 +lb patient, when I asked how long the patient had been there they said about 2 days already, ok another 6 hours on the bed she's on wont hurt her then I'll see ya around 8am. I dont think that was the answer they wanted.
At first my boss was a little pissy until I reminded him we rent by the day not the hour and how much he pays me per hour for call outs, he changed his tune after that.
