Cellphone handsfree question

Postby Cableguy » Sat Jan 09, 2010 3:22 pm

I've been shopping around for a good handsfree cellphone system for my work truck any recommendations?

My Ford is noisey, clunky and a bluetooth headset is like talking with 2 dixie cups and a string. I currently have a motorola H700, you can only turn a headset up so high and the person on the other end can barely hear me.

I like the FM modulated ones and the visor clip bluetooth ones too.
Anyway let me know whatcha got and whatcha recommend

Cheers, Jamie

The good: The BlueAnt S1 has a compact design, with features like the ability to answer calls with your voice, multipoint technology, A2DP stereo Bluetooth, and automatic reconnect. It has very good call quality as well.

The bad: The BlueAnt S1 won't replace your car stereo speakers in terms of audio quality, the volume rocker is a bit stiff, and it won't read incoming caller ID like the Supertooth 3.

The bottom line: For the price, the BlueAnt S1 is an excellent Bluetooth speakerphone with great features and performance.

and in the $60 range, which isn't too bad

That looks interesting, a couple of dollars more though.
I wonder if it has that background noise cancellation technology that most are talking about.
I'll have to read up on this one
